Named for mythical tree spirits, Dryad’s Orchard Shampoo is infused with aromatic apple water we distill from Annapolis Valley Novaspy apples grown in the orchards of Suprima Farms by third-generation apple grower Richard Hennigar. Crisp, juicy, sweet and tart, the Novaspy apple was born in the Annapolis Valley, with a lineage of Northern Spy, Golden Delicious, Spartan and the only apples native to North America, crab apples. No added fragrance, just the natural scent extracted from apples. Gluten-free, cruelty-free and vegan.

Benefits:

Supports hair’s natural pH balance of between 4.5 and 5.5—natural hair acidity keeps fungi and bacteria in check and keeps the protective outer layer of the hair shaft healthy, for hair that is smooth, silky soft, shiny and full of body.

Emollient and exfoliating, helps alleviate itchy scalp due to dryness and slough away flakes, to leave your scalp fresh and clean.

Made with mild, sulfate-free, naturally derived cleansers approved by ECOCERT for use in certifed organic products.

Enriched with our own Field Horsetail distillate, Pro-Vitamin B5, Quinoa protein and Polyquaternium-10, a naturally derived hydroxyethylcellulose with a positive charge that helps draw our Dryad’s Orchard Shampoo and Conditioner to damaged areas of the hair shaft and creates a better bond for extended performance. Hair is more manageable, with less static and better curl definition and retention. Specially formulated to leave very little residue behind, so hair retains its shine, bounce and volume.

Naturally preserved with gluconolactone and sodium benzoate. Accepted by ECOCERT for use in certified organic products, this globally approved preservative combines glucono delta lactone, a food additive derived from corn, and sodium benzoate, a food grade preservative, offers broad spectrum preservation, and is also a proven moisturiser.

Use in conjunction with Dryad’s Orchard Conditioner for best results.

Try finishing with an apple juice rinse once a week… mix one part unsweetened apple juice to three parts water, leave in for 5 minutes, then rinse with tepid water. After towel drying, apply a thin film of Dryad’s Orchard Conditioning Pomade through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair for soft hold, shine and definition, and then style.

Ingredients/Ingrédients: aqua, decyl glucoside, sodium lauroyl lactylate, pyrus malus, equisetum arvense, gluconolactone, panthenol, hydrolyzed quinoa, polyquaternium-10, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate
