Tips for applying loose mineral foundation
Loose mineral foundations are designed to adhere to the acid mantle of your skin. For a diffuse, matte finish, dispense a dime sized amount of foundation into the lid of your pot and pick the minerals up with a soft, dense kabuki or flat top brush. Holding the brush upright, tap the end of the handle on a hard surface to settle the minerals into the bristles. Beginning with your nose and working outward from the centre of your face, press the brush to your skin to apply the minerals and then use small circular motions to blend them. For a more controlled application with less fallout, we recommend misting your brush prior to picking the minerals up (our mists are on our Facial Care page).
We’re delighted to offer cruelty-free, vegan kabuki and flat-top brushes featuring lush, dense, velvety soft synthetic bristles designed to hold loose minerals.
