Cosmic Tree Essentials grew out of founder and Nova Scotia AuDHD makeup artist Beth Thompson's love for the sensory richness of nature’s kaleidoscope of colours and aromatic essential oils, extracted from plants and trees for use in cosmetics through the ages. We believe diversity is enriching. We're named for the Cosmic Tree, a symbol of the interdependence of all life, and known for our luscious chocolate lipsticks. 

Cosmic Tree Essentials has been shaped from the ground up by creativity, visual thinking, innovative problem solving, attention to detail, love of nature, honesty, integrity, loyalty and empathy. We are highly attuned to the nuances of colour, texture and scent. Our true-to-nature shades are inspired by the Maritime land and seascapes around us and are our own unique blends of cosmetic grade minerals, free of synthetic lakes and dyes. Our small-batch blends of holistic skin and hair care feature pure and mindfully selected essential oils, hydrosols, plant oils, extracts, flower waxes and butters.
